Architect, design, and write code for Web-based software systems. Lead a small- to medium-sized software team in the whole development process including specification, testing, and maintenance. Help the team solve difficult technical problems. Mentor programmers and software designers.

• Technical leadership experience with excellent problem-solving ability.
• Highly skilled in software design and architecture.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in good Software Engineering practices.
• Extensive experience with one or more Object-Oriented programming languages: Java, C#, C++, Python, Ruby, etc.
• Interested in Web-based software development.
• Very good communication skills.
• Substantial experience in the software industry.
• Experience and/or strong interests in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and/or Natural Language Processing (NLP) would be an advantage (though not required).
• Knowledge and/or experience of languages in alternative programming paradigms/languages (e.g. Lisp, Scheme, Haskell, ML, Mathematica, Prolog) would be a plus (though not required).
